Hi I'm Ulises

Being a Mormon has changed the way I see life. I started going to church because of my wife.

About Me

I attended college in El Salvador but I didn't finish my education due to the social conflict that devastated El Salvador in the 70's and 80's. I moved to Los Angeles, California as a teenager and married. Years later decided to come to Reno, Nevada. And after six years of being in Nevada my wife decided to visit the Mormon church. While I visited the church a new me was emerging and my spiritual life did a twist that got me converted. I am so happy that this happened.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a church member has changed my priorities in life. I pay more attention to my inner side and to the things that will improve me as a person. Christ has moved me in many ways and my vision as a father, son or citizen are more productive and more meaningful. The Mormon lifestyle is unique. I believe that God gets closer to you when you're in tune with his commandments and have a sincere approach with your divine side.

How I live my faith

My faith is the column that holds my character and anything that relates to me as a person. I believe that I cannot exist without God by my side. The Doctrine of the church has expanded my vision. As a second counselor of a Spanish ward, I am able to help others. When I visit other members of the ward as home teacher, I sense the importance of God in their life. Sharing the gospel is a magnificent way to get closer as humans.
