Hi I'm Devin

I was raised in the mountains of Colorado. I love traveling and being with my husband and family. I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hey there my name is Devin and I'm 21 years old. I am currently attending BYU in Provo Utah as a Junior studying accounting. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado with my family of five. I have two younger siblings and miss them a lot. I recently got married in the Draper temple and couldn't ask for a better and more loving husband. We hope to either move back to Colorado or to California after we graduate. We are both very busy with school and work but try to do things every week to keep our life and relationship fresh. We enjoy skiing, wakeboarding, rock climbing, and many other outdoor activities. I also love to cook and read when I get time to. We hope to start our own family in the next few years after we graduate next year.

Why I am a Mormon

I couldn't imagine living without the church in my life. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his love for me and for you! I know that I am able to receive the blessings of being with my family forever and returning to live with my Heavenly Father again. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me and my family so much happiness and protection from the harmful things of the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday and hope to get better and closer to Christ and my Heavenly Father by doing so. I have made commitments in my life to follow him and keep his commandments. I do this by not drinking alcohol or participating in harmful drugs. I pay my tithing and fast offerings each month. I also visit a two sisters in my ward whom I am assigned to make sure are taken care of. I also try my best to serve others and always be kind. I am not perfect but I repent daily for my mistakes and know that the atonement of Jesus Christ allows me to be forgiven.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Devin
If you sincerely want to know if Mormonism is true then you can pray to Heavenly Father and ask him if what you are learning is true. Listen with your heart for feelings of confirmation such feelings can be of happiness, peace, and hope. These feelings will be magnified as you keep God's commandments and read and learn of his teachings. Show more Show less
