Hi I'm Robert

I'm from California. I have a degree in business. I'm a manager, a husband, a father, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Southern California but currently live in Colorado. I served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Manila, Philippines and speak Tagalog. I have a bachelors degree from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in International Business with a minor in Psychology. I'm a branch manager at a pest control company. I have been married for 6 years this November to my beautiful wife. We have two daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church, I had the opportunity to gain my own conviction when I was 18 years old. My father, who was my best friend, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. I was devastated. To me it was the end of the world but I gained comfort by falling back on the church's beliefs regarding the afterlife. For several months I set out to gain a personal testimony, to know weather I belonged to a church that taught true doctrine. I read the Book of Mormon and many other official church books. During this time I felt the undeniable presence of the Holy Spirit. I was comforted and I ended up receiving my answer. About six months later, I began my mission for my church. During my mission in the Philippines, my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ was solidified. I learned a lot about this church, another culture and myself.

How I live my faith

I am definitely not perfect but I strive to be like my Savior Jesus Christ. My family and I attend and participate in weekly church services. I teach Sunday School each month for the Elders quorum in my ward. My wife and I try to study the scriptures on daily basis together, and hold family night each Monday were we teach our young daughters principles of the gospel.
