Hi I'm Shane

I'm a husband, father, wildlife biologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in colorado for the past 6 years and enjoy riding horses, playing sports, hunting and spending time with my family. I graduated from college with a wildlife science degree and currently work in a profession that gives me a lot of hands on experience with wildlife.

Why I am a Mormon

In a world full of quick, self-gradifying oppotunites, the Mormon church teaches and focuses it's members on the opposite. I have always enjoyed how the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me understand what brings me the most truthful and lasting happiness; a few of these would include families, what lies ahead, and service to others.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the young men in our church. Serving in this capacity is greatly rewarding. It enables me to help young men learn how to grow into honorable men. One program the church uses is Boy Scouts of America. As a young man, I greatly benefited from my participation in this program and feel it is important to help other young men benefit from the scouting program as well.
