Hi I'm Kristin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to a wonderful 2 year old son. He is the center of my world. I love to cook, bake, sew, dance and travel. I love spending time with family and friends. I own and operate a mobile DJ company - we DJ many weddings, private parties, and dances. I absolutely love working with Brides and helping make their wedding dreams come true. I love life and try to be optimistic and see the best in situations.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the way it makes me feel. The gospel gives me hope and peace in knowing that I can be with those I love forever. I feel confident knowing that I can continue to grow closer to my heavenly Father and our Savior and participate in all the blessings that are given because of the atonement. This helps me know and learn more about who I am and who I can become. Living the gospel isn't always easy because of the MANY distractions in the world, but I am grateful to know that the Savior waits patiently as I learn how to be a better person and follow my desire to be close to Him. I know that a loving heavenly Father listens to and answers our prayers as we go to Him in faith. I have felt the comfort and guidance of the Spirit as I have sought answers in earnest prayer. I know our heavenly Father loves all of us and wants us to be happy.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I am a teacher in the women's group/class. I LOVE it. I love pondering the lessons that I am going to teach and finding how the teachings apply to our every day lives. I try to find points in my lessons that help us all be better people and spark good discussions among everyone in my class.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The best way to know if the Mormon church is true is to sincerely learn the teachings, read and ponder The Book of Mormon, and pray to our heavenly Father to know if it is true. When you learn the teachings and read The Book of Mormon, you may feel a thirst for more or have feelings of peace, hope, and joy. These feelings are from the Holy Ghost and will let you know the truth of these things. Show more Show less
