Hi I'm Amy

I grew up in Southern California, I am a mom and a foster mom, I have 8 sons, that number can go up at anytime! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an independent, creative, do-it-yourself person! I enjoys fixing up our home, sewing, scrap booking, photography, painting (walls, not canvases), and technology! I am also a mother of 8 sons, however, that number can change at anytime! I have 4 sons with my husband of 20 years, I am adopting a baby boy and I have 3 foster sons. I am also a therapeutic provider. My passion is Autistic Spectrum disorders, they are a challenge and a blessing, they see the world in a very simple way and I love getting a glimpse into their world!

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know they love me too and created a way for us to live with them again someday. I love my children and I want them to be able to live with me when our life on this earth is over. I am so thankful for a loving Father who makes this possible if we follow his commandments.

How I live my faith

I work with the Young Women, I am the camp director and secretary. Having all sons, it is a real treat to work with these girls! I feel so privileged to spend time planning and prepping for a wonderful camp experience and also the week I get to spend in nature with these beautiful daughters of our Father in Heaven. Outside of my calling at church, I serve others. When I see another person, especially if they are struggling, I ask myself what they need. I try to provide meals, childcare, groceries, rides, support, knowledge....anything I can to help lighten the load for one of my brothers or sisters.
