Hi I'm Ana

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a music lover, Steelers fan, and a student at BYU. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm studying chemical engineering and minoring in music at BYU. I love sports, reading, listening to all sorts of music, singing, piano, movies, laughing, and Thai food. I've traveled to many awesome places and love experiencing new things. I love swimming, walking, and kayaking, as well as playing recreational sports. I've torn my ACL three times (but never broken a bone), so if you're interested in talking about ACL reconstruction surgery, I'm your girl! I love being with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it's true! I can see that living the principles of Christ's church leads to happiness and contentedness. When I live the gospel, I feel more fulfilled as a person and more capable in overcoming my own weaknesses. I also love the people in the church- they are my closest friends, my best advisers, and my teachers. They help me as I strive to live the standards of the gospel. I would not choose to live any other way!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the way I do things every day. Every decision I make, I make knowing that I have an Eternal Father who loves me and expects much of me. I try my best to be charitable, keep my language clean, dress respectfully, engage in worthwhile activities, study my scriptures daily, keep the Word of Wisdom, and be a cheerful, upbeat person. I know that I am not perfect, and I embrace that. I look forward to the many ways I can improve myself spiritually, academically, socially, physically, etc. throughout this life. I hope to become the best possible version of myself that I can be! I know that this can only be achieved through following the gospel of Jesus Christ.
