Hi I'm Myriam

I'm a stay at home wife, devoted, loving mother of two precious boys. I'm a CNA/RPT, and yes I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Haiti... I spent most of my adult life in America. I love reading ancient history, listening to music, teaching and playing with my kids. I love and respect life.

Why I am a Mormon

One day, my husband who lives in Canada calls me to tell me that he is a Mormon! I thought this was one of his many jokes, but he told me he's never been serious about anything. I started to worry, how this gonna affect our relationship, what people at my church, friends, and family gonna say about this... Because you heard all the stuff people been saying regarding the Mormons. Until one quiet Sunday afternoon, when i heard a knock on my door! By opening, i saw two young strangers: well dressed, talking to me in my own language about God's plan for me. They left me one of those Mormon flyer with their phone number. I threw it somewhere around the house, knowing i will never contacted them. Days/weeks later i had a beautiful vision... In my vision, i saw the two elders whom knocked on my door earlier. They entered my home, there was a third person after them, that resembles a messenger of God... He was glorious and shining like the sun. I was frightened, but the elders assured me not to be afraid! They were bringing so much stuff inside my home and one of them caught my attention, it was a large billboard, on it was a picture of the paradise. I was so amazed that i couldn't believe my eyes! Since that day, I've known an incredible peace which I've never known before. Blessing, knowledge of the truth, and salvation entered my home throughout the missionaries. Words cannot explain my sentiment and gratitude. I love and respect you all. Keep up the good work! I was empty, but didn't know it. Thank you very much!*

How I live my faith

I take it one day at a time. I'm more loving, patient, supportive, and understanding. I thank God everyday for the miracle of life. I'm with the missionaries every week, my question always answered in a satisfying way. Trouble will come, but going back to my vision and knowing God's plan for me gives me strength and courage. In all, i love everything about the church: the principles, respect for one another, discipline, ordinances, and so on...

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

There's no secret about the temple, the ordinances are simply sacred. Remember Jesus came not to abolish, but to fulfill. Show more Show less
