Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty years old and am currently attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am majoring in Child Development and dream to one day become a Children's Librarian! I grew up in Alabama and miss home sometimes, but I really love it here in Idaho. I am one of eight kids and absolutely love my family. I am happiest when I am around them and consider them to be the greatest people I know.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon) because I know, without any doubt, that it is true. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. That He came here and set a perfect example for us to follow. He willingly suffered and sacrificed for us because He loves us. He has made it possible for me to repent and to be able to return to live with Him one day if I am obedient to the commandments. I am so thankful for Him and am trying to follow His perfect example and show my appreciation for Him by serving others. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the gospel on the earth. I know that the Book Of Mormon is true because I have read it, prayed about it, and received the answer through the Spirit. I know that I can be with my family for all eternity-what more could I possibly ask for? I know that prayer is real and that our Heavenly Father hears and answers every one. I know that I am a child of God and that He knows my name and is aware of the things that are going on in my life. I know that He wants to hear from me and wants to bless me because He loves me and wants me to be happy and successful. I am a member of this church because through it I have found true happiness!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, reading my scriptures and praying, and by doing my best to always remember Christ and what He has done for me-which will help me make good decisions throughout my everyday life.
