Hi I'm Rachel

I live in Poulsbo, I am the 4th of 9 kids. I love to sing and read and laugh with my siblings. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in high school, and I'm part-time home schooled through BYU Independent Study. My favorite subjects in school are history and math. I am the 4th of 9 kids. My family means everything to me. I have twin preemie baby brothers who are adorable. I am a big reader. I want to go to BYU Provo when I graduate from high school. I love watching Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents who are faithful members. The first time I remember feeling the spirit was at my baptism when I was 8 years old, but I know I felt it before that. Since my baptism I have felt the spirit numerous times, especially as I have grown older. I know this church is true. I have felt my Savior's love for me and my family and have seen small miracles in my own life. I know my Savior loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my dress, appearance, language, and actions. I do not wear immodest clothing such as low cut shirts or skirts and shorts that are too short. I try to dress and act in a way that shows respect for myself and others. I keep my langauge clean by not swearing or using demeaning words about myself or others. I try to act as Christ would want me to act and be kind to every person I meet. I go to church every Sunday, serving as a secretary in my Young Womens class. I do all I can to be worthy to have a temple recommend. Every school morning, I attend a 6:00 am seminary class where I learn about the scriptures. I try to live my life as a witness of God at all times.
