Hi I'm Brock

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I live and work in Vancouver, British Columbia. I work as a marketing analyst for a charitable organization and my wife is an interior designer. We spend a lot of our free time running and biking along the Vancouver seawall. We also enjoy surfing, camping, and most of all we enjoy spending time with family. I am a basketball enthusiast, I enjoy reading a good book, and I am a lover of quality music (vintage gospel like Sam Cooke & the Soul Stirrers or Sister Wynona Carr, indie, folk, soul & jazz).

Why I am a Mormon

My membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been a true blessing in my life. A Prophet named Ezra Taft Benson once said,"Men and women who turn their lives over to God will find out that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can. He will deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds, strengthen their muscles, lift their spirits, multiply their blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, and pour out peace ... When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives." I cannot deny the truthfulness of this statement. As I have put this to the test (John 7:17), I have come to truly believe that life is a great deal more meaningful with God on our side. I have read and prayed about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the Spirit of God has confirmed to me that it is the word of God. I am very grateful for this knowledge and blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I am a son of my Heavenly Father and I am indebted to my Savior Jesus Christ for the sacrifice he made for me. I live my faith by working hard and by doing my best to act in a manner of obedience to gospel principles. I also try to live a life of kindness with a genuine love for others.
