Hi I'm Chase

I make electronic dance music. I love laughing. I love smiling. I'm a slightly aimless college kid, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to laugh! It is one of the greatest things I know how to do. I hope no one views me as a giggling idiot, but who cares? Laughter is a gift from God, and I'm glad that he gave it to me! It's awesome! I love making music! I mostly listen to music like dubstep, house, or other electronic music. My music is an outlet for me to express myself and create. I feel like music is one of the greatest gifts of creation that we have been given! I am attending Utah Valley University, studying business; however I'm not sure really what I want to do. I am interesterd

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life, but, just like everyone, I had to decide if it was right for me. It took a while, but after contemplation and prayer, I found my answer. I know that this Church is true, and I'm happy about it. I am a Mormon because the spirit has born witness to me through the thoughts and feelings of my heart! I also feel, intellectually that it just makes sense! To think that God would provide us with only one way to know how to live -- the Bible -- and just leave us to interpret it for ourselves is just hard to believe! Because He loves us, and because there is so much confusion about what the Bible teaches, He has provided us with another Testament to His Son, and a living Prophet to help guide us. Now, as I said before, this is something that I have come to through pondering, prayer, and thought. By the power of the Holy Ghost, the truth has come to me. It can come to all those that seek it. I don't think that anyone should take my word for it, because it is necessary to gain a witness by the power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I live my life to the fullest extent! That's not to say I'm the most adventurous person all the time. What I mean is that I try to never let the pressure of everyday life get me down. I am always trying to be better, and I'm always trying to endure well the things I face each day! I live my faith by striving to have a good attitude and a good sense of humor about things. I don't always understand why things happen, but I know that everything happens for a reason, and that I will learn a lot from going through it! I always try and be kind to everyone I meet. It's not always easy, and sometimes I fail miserably, but at least I'm trying! At this point in my life, I am living my faith through serving a full-time two year mission for the Lord. I try to be a good disciple of Jesus Christ, and I try to be an example of the believers to those who don't always share my faith. I also live my faith by loving my family! They are the greatest! I want them to be happy, and I know that there are very few things that will bring me more happiness than spending time with family! It's so awesome! There are many other ways that I live my faith, but those are some of the basic ones!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

It has been commanded of the Lord that His disciples go into the world and teach all nations. Aside from that obvious reason, it is something that is done to help God's children grow. I can't always speak for other missionaries, but I am serving because I know it is the right thing to do. The work of the Lord is here to benefit all of us, including the missionaries who spread the gospel. To take 18 to 24 months of your life and devote it entirely to service is something that shapes a person's life. I know that the time that I have served so far has helped me to grow selfless and caring for others. There is a certain spirit that envelopes me as I come in contact with people of all different backgrounds. I can feel the love that Heavenly Father has for them, and I seek to love them. Just as the Savior taught: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have alove one to another." - John 13:34-35 We seek that all of our Brothers and Sisters can have happiness and knowledge, and the way we can do that is by being the instrument through which the work progresses.
