Hi I'm Meg

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the desert, now I live in the rain.

About Me

I am married to a great guy. I have two college degrees, two dogs, and two kids (so far). I am a registered nurse but currently I stay home and use my nursing skills for my family. I love staying home and raising my kids, even though some people wonder how I do that or why I want more kids. I love reading and hiking and watching my kids play in the mud.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family, but I know for myself that it is true. When I read the Book of Mormon for the first time before I was 8. I have since then read it many times, and I know that it is a true and inspired book. It contains the words of God. When I read it its like being home. I know that Jesus Christ is the head of this Church and that He is our Savior and Redeemer. Following Him and the example He has provided makes me happy. Keeping His commandments helps me to raise my family to be good people.

How I live my faith

For the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to work with the 12-18 year old girls at church. I was their teacher on Sunday. They are special and strong people. Teaching them about the gospel and how to follow high standards of morality has been fun and rewarding. The world is a hard and scary place, being able to help arm these girls with the knowledge that they are beloved daughters of God has been a privilege.
