Hi I'm Alex-Zander

I grew up in Seattle, child of immigrant parents from Ecuador, I'm LDS.

About Me

About me! Well I am 21, college student, and Biochemistry major. I have not been all over the world, nor own the fanciest car, but I do take part in the sweetest work on the World. Helping people change their lives 1 heart and one step at a time with this everlasting gospel. I am a return missionary from Ecuador, and I have hobbies such as sports, reading, and learning. Learning helps fill my brain up with knowledge to apply in today's world which is so ever daunting.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I LDS? Well this all started 20+ years ago when my parents migrated to the States from Ecuador when I was a wee little child. As I grew up I was raised in Washington, a culture in which felt normal to me at the time. However many difficulties were pressed upon our family during an early age in my life. Many arguments and discussions erupted causing contention, tears, and hardened hearts. My family and I decided to start looking for a concrete church to try and mend things. As we looked and looked, we assisted and learned many doctrines. We were simply not satisfied with any for none had a concrete base nor foundation for their works. This was happening until 2 missionaries came and knocked on our door. Now at first we saw 2 smiling Americans, and thought they might be milk men trying to sell things. However we were in for a surprises, they weren't selling anything, in fact they were here to help our family be united! Long Story short, we took the lessons and were baptized. This happened during the age of 11-12 years old. I testify that this was per-ordained, the Lord knew we were in need and he sent his angels. Now it is very likely none of you have these challenges, but whatever challenge that ye do have, Christ may come to heal you. I testify that Jesus is the Christ. I also know that there can only be one Lord, One faith, and One baptism. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ is the answer to many of your prayers if you come unto the Lord without hesitation and taste this everlasting gospel.

How I live my faith

Serve, serve, and serve. I love the word service. It is exemplary. It makes us feel great, it helps fill peoples gray days with light and it helps perfect us. For when “ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your fellow God.” I maintain my testimony that this is the true gospel. I stick with the Church because the doctrine is complete, true and eternal. Life is not just about eating and drinking and being merry for tomorrow we die! We have purpose, value, and an eternity to look forward to. I stick with this church for I know that the children or family members that have died here on earth who leave scars on loved ones hearts may be seen again! I know this is true, I know it's true that Christ suffered for our sins, and that the road that leads to him is unpopular, anti-world, the straight and narrow. It is so worth it to do what's right when knowing the eternal blessings and envisioning them.
