Hi I'm Phyllis

I was born and raised in Utah. I moved to another state many many years ago. --A happy Mormon all my life.

About Me

I am a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. At this time in my life my interests have changed from earlier years. In the past I have loved doing counted cross stitch and sewing. Now I enjoy scrapbooking and have completed many albums. I love talking to and being with my extended family, special friends, attending church and attending various events in our community.

Why I am a Mormon

Most of my ancestos joined the Church and set an example of love and service for me. I loved the Church as a child and have always had a desire to live it's teachings. I know without a doubt that staying active in it will bring happiness in this life and eternal happiness in the life to come. This can be possible for anyone by following our Heavenly Father's Plan, and through the Atonement and teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have been blessed to have served in many positions in the Church, from young children to older adults. This has been such a pleasure and a growing experience for me. I hope my love for the Church has been an influence for good in their lives. I have also enjoyed volunteer work in the communities where I've lived -- on the Grantee Board of Head Start and in several school libraries, etc. Volunteering and becoming friends with people of all faiths has blessed my life.
