Hi I'm Geraldine (Jeri) Jordan

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Detroit, Michigan but I grew up in Waverly, Tennessee.

About Me

I am a mom of five children. I enjoy cooking, sewing, tole painting, quilting, reading, gardening, & canning the food we raise. I above all love doing Family History work. I also enjoy traveling to places where my ancestor's have lived. I enjoy serving in the church. I worked with the single adults for several years, a calling that is very fulfilling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon! I grew up being taught the gospel in our home. I knew when I was a little girl that the gospel is true. I have always known this throughout my life. I have a personal testimony of Jesus Christ, that he is the son of a loving Heavenly Father. I have a personal testimony of the Scriptures. I have a personal testimony of how prayers are answered. I have a personal testimony of "Families can be together Forever."

How I live my faith

I have always been active in the church all of my life. I have held many callings and enjoy getting to know the members in our ward wherever I have lived. I love serving them by Visiting Teaching. I was a Visiting Teacher when I was 17 yrs. old and have been ever since. I love teaching and sharing my many talents with our wonderful sisters. I love working with the Single Adults. They are a special group of members, widow, widowers, never been married or divorced. I also work with and have the calling of working in our Family History Center. What a joy and privilege to work with people and help them trace their ancestory.
