Hi I'm Wayne

Yes, my right ear is bigger than my left. Also I love cars, snowboarding and wakeboarding and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy wakeboarding, snowboarding, and any other sport. I graduated from ASU in Accounting. My buddy and I started a photobooth company in which we take our booth to different wedding and corporate events as a side business.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up my parents were very active however, I was not. I would go to church with them but did not pay attention and did not internalize all of the teachings that were taught in church. When I turned 19 I was not sure if I wanted to serve a mission as is requested of every worth male member of the church at that age. Though some guidance from my brother and father I decided to pray to know if I should go on a mission. I did not receive an answer before going on my mission but decided to go anyways. When on my mission I started learning and teaching the gospel. It only took me a couple of weeks to realize that I did not have a real conviction of the things that I was teaching and that in order to continue on my mission I would need to really find out if these things were true. The bible and the Book of Mormon both said that if one wants to know the truth they can ask GOD in prayer and they will receive an answer by the power if the Holy Ghost. So I turned to my Heavenly Father in prayer, I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was the word of GOD and if Joseph Smith was a prophet of GOD. The Spirit of GOD comforted me and taught me that these things were true and that I was in the right place, on my mission. Through service on my mission I gained a strong conviction that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer, that he organized a church on the earth, and then laid down his life and paid the penalty for my sins. I know that the church fell away but through the mercy of GOD the church has been restored in our day. Joseph Smith was called as was Moses to lead the people back to Jesus Christ and His teachings. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of GOD and teaches, as does the Bible, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the council of church leaders. By going to church every Sunday and participating in lessons. Weather it is an organized service project or a person on the side of the road with car problems I try to help out others who are in need. My current calling or job in the church is to organize activities every Monday night for 10 to 40 people. We get together to play games, sports, eat, or just enjoy one another’s company. This activity is usually started with a spiritual thought and always with a prayer. I also do hometeaching or visit members of the church. In this calling I have a few individuals who I go to their house and teach them a short gospel message. Hometeaching also includes doing service for my people and making sure their temporal and spiritual needs are being met.
