Hi I'm Quinn

I grew up in Washington State. I joined the Army. I speak Korean and Thai. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and also a father of two wonderful boys. They are 4 and 2. They love to use their imaginations. We tried to put my eldest in TaeKwonDo (It's like Karate) but he wasn't ready to sit still and learn the moves yet. He is also in Pre-School. I try to go over math and English with him so he will be ready for school.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the church. My parents have always been members of the church and I have always been a member of the church. This doesn't mean that I haven't had my challenges. At one time I had to decide not to just follow what my parents believe but make my own decision of what is true. Let me tell you that Prayer really works. You can pray to know what is true and I believe that through prayer and the spirit of the Lord, is the only way you can know. I found out that God is real, we are his children and he cares about us and wants us to learn and grow. I also know that he wants us to have faith and is willing to let us go through hard times so we can learn and use our faith. I believe that we need to be God's servants so when other people need help from God, we need to be that help for them.

How I live my faith

I have been in the army a lot so I move around often. It is always fun to meet new people but sometimes I miss being in one place for a long time like I was when I was young. I think the army does have some challenges that aren't as prevalent in other professions. However, I believe that God wants me to be where I am so I can be a representative of how a believer should act. I know I'm not perfect but I am trying.
