Hi I'm Ryan Reese

Like Lebron, I took my talents to South Beach serving a mission in Miami. I enjoy a nice pair of slacks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time listening to music especially Blue Scholars, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, Kid Cudi, and Justin Timberlake. I also am a movie buff that enjoys a good comedy any time of the day. All around I just like kickin it back with the fellas and being a goof ball. My true passion is sports. I played basketball and baseball back in high school, and just love being around them. My teams are The Yankees, The Jazz, and The BYU Cougars. I am the youngest in my family, and just barely graduated high school. I currently am serving a mission in Miami Florida, and after that I will be going to Brigham Young University to major in Business Finance. I also can speak spanish and want to minor in the language as well. I want to be an investment banker and capitol venturalist one day while also working with commercial real estate. Other than that, I love to take naps and kick back with my friends and family and enjoy the company of others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I know that it is the only true church. Nuff said. Everyone wants to know the truth, and a lot of times we have those question of life, "Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going?" I asked myself these questions, and found that everything the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints teaches just makes sense. I read the Book of Mormon and did as it told me to, asked God if it was true. I undeniably recieved an answer, and the more that I study from the Book of Mormon and the Bible, it just confirms that this church is true. Not only is it true, but it is the only true church. Bold statement, but also a very true statement.

How I live my faith

I am seriving a mission as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints currently in Miami Florida. That means that I set two years apart from my life to leave everything behind and teach the gospel to those that are hungry to find it.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Ryan Reese
Pick up the Book of Mormon and read it. In Moroni chapter 10:4-5 there is a priomise that if we read the Book of Mormon with real intent, and then ask God if it is true that he will answer it. That's what I did. I went straight to the source (God) and asked him a very blunt question while wanting to recieve an answer. The holy ghost told me it was true. No matter what you've done in your past, no matter who you are, God is the same today, yesterday, and forever; and he will give you an answer. He wants you to know that his one and only true church has been restored again on the earth. And I promise you that it is. No doubt in my mind that it is the only true church. If it wasn't, I wouldn't give up my 19-21 years of age to learn a different language to people in Miami. It's true. You can do it for yourself if you read the Book of Mormon and pray about it. It's true. No doubt. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Ryan Reese
Being someone that doesn't really like other people and is independent, I would suggest to be careful in your selection. If you know anyone that is mormon whether at school, work or a family member, just ask them. But, keep it light to start out. Remember, the church is perfect, the people most definitely are not. Don't be alarmed if someone tries to push it on you or comes off as intimidating. If that's the case, just go on to the next and approach someone that you can feel comfortable with. Every religion will have someone that will try to convert you even if you ask a harmless question. Make sure that type of person isn't existent when you ask about the LDS religion. Show more Show less
