Hi I'm Kodi

I'm Proud to be Canadian, I'm a full-time Missionary and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born into the Church, and have grown up loving what I learned from the scriptures. My parents have always taught me to have a testimony of the truth, so if and when I was asked by anyone, I could just testify of the things I knew to be true. I was born in Lethbridge Alberta Canada and spent most of my younger years camping with my family, which brought us closer together. When I was nine years of age, I became involved with the guitar, I started by playing many classic rock tunes everyone loves, but eventually grew heavier and heavier. I never focussed much on lyrics as to the guitar part itself, but I noticed my lifestyle changing. When I was fifteen, I was diagnosed with a spinal disease called Sheurmann's Kyphosis, a rare and potentially threatening disease, this prohibitted further my career as an electric lead guitarist. So I then became involved with the acoustic guitar, and started playing in a fingerstyle manner. My love for it grew, to the releasing of my first album in 2009. My passion for the Gosple of Jesus Christ and my love for music began to work together as I started playing the hymns on my acoustic guitar. As my knowledge of the sacred hymns and also my knowledge of the gospel grew, my understanding of everything fell into place. I am now currently serving a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I love being able to serve my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it has given me guidance and a sense of belonging to my life. I have chosen to be a part of this religion because my entire life, I have felt the presence of my Heavenly Father, leading me, guiding me, especially through my trials due to my spine. I will never leave this community in the Church because I know with all my heart that what I know and what I have read, are true, without a doubt. And everyone in the world can know it too!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studdying, praying, and doing that which the Lord will have me do every day, especially as a Missionary.
