Hi I'm Dallen.

I grew up in the shadow of the Colorado Mountains, and still don't know how to ski, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second oldest of six children. I grew up in Colorado and served as a full-time missionary for the church in Miami Florida, learning spanish as a second language. I am currently going to college and plan to study Physics. I love playing piano, singing, and eating food. Along with rock climbing, white water rafting and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and was baptised when I was 8 years old. I have been going to church for all my life. During high school I faced some challenges and problems that really made me start to question if Jesus really was my Savior. I knew that God existed and that He knows me, but that through His son I could be forgiven I was unsure. After months of wandering and trying to find different things to fill the hole i felt within me, I decided that I should firgure out if Jesus was really the solution to all my problems. I started to particapte in church and pray and study the scriptures throughout the week. I started to feel and see the blessings come into my life. That hole that I was trying to fill, was being filled! and it was making me happy! One day after my scripture study, I knelt down, and prayed to my Father in Heaven asking Him if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints was Jesus' restored church on the earth. The answer didn't come immeaditaly. throughout the next week I continued to search and ask. I started to recognize that after evey time I prayed I was more and more convinced that this was the true chruch of Jesus Christ. This grew and grew, and now today I know without a doubt that this is the church that Christ established and that he really is my Lord and Savior. This is why I'm a mormon. And I love it!

How I live my faith

I recently returned from serving a full-time mission. That includes giving up two years of my life and decirating them completly to our Savior Jesus Christ. Riding my bike on the streets of Miami I preached what I know to be true. I have been serving in the church all my life. Giving up two years was a sacrifice but it was worth the blessings I have received and will receive from serving the Lord full-time for two years. I have helped with being a youth leader to orginaize different activities that helped us enjoy the Colorado wildlife and grow together spiritualy.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Being a return missionary, missionaries have been called to share what they know about Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. They will help you learn more about Jesus Christ and help you to know how you can increase your faith in Him. They also teach about how we can live with our families for eternity and have joy and peace while living here on earth. Show more Show less
