Hi I'm Kylie

I love to cook. I love to play sports. I'm a paramedic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I've got 4 years of college under my belt and am a Paramedic. I will be continuing my education so that I can advance in the medical field. I love to play sports, be out doors, watch movies and cook. Today I am a full time missionary sharing the gospel with as many people as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I had grown up surrounded by the church most of my life. My mother joined the Church when she was 34 and shortly after we moved to Boston, MA. While there my mother would take my brother and I to church with her. Because of this we were surrounded by wonderful friends and examples that encouraged us and supported us. At this time I was only 14 yrs old, but I recognized that these friends had something that I didn't and that made me jealous. I didn't know what it was, but I wanted it. I quickly began to realize that what they had was the Church, The Gospel and Jesus Christ in their lives. But not only that, they were apart of the chruch, living the example that Christ had set for us. Being 14 I understood enough to know that I just had to be apart of it too. Thanks to my wonderful parents I was supported in my decsion to be baptized and have loved every minute of it since.

How I live my faith

Today I am serving a full time mission in the Florida, Ft. Lauderdale Mission. The greatest mission in all the land! One of the best oppertunities the Church has to offer is to serve a mission. Being given the privledge to share the Gospel is an amazing experinece where you get to meet the most amazing people. You learn and grow and here you create a pathway to the rest of your life.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Kylie
Through the gift of the Holy Ghost we can have a constant companion to help guide us and show us the way! Ever warning us of danger, uplifting us when we fall down and giving us peace in our hearts, the Holy Ghost is one of the most precious and valuable gifts our Father in Heaven has given us. Everyone has the ability to feel the Spirit in their lives, but we must be worthy to have the Spirit with us always. This includes being baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by the preisthood authority from God. Having the Holy Ghost is like having a best friend that no matter what you do he will be there to show you the way. What comfort it is to know that we can have constant direction in our lives through this amazing gift. Show more Show less
