Hi I'm Richard Boothe

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah. Became a disc jockey and newscaster. Also owned a photography studio.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman from Canada. Worked as a disc jockey in the 60's and 70's then became a newscaster for news talk stations. My hobbies are photography and collecting songs. I play the piano and the organ and enjoy playing the organ at church. Also have done a lot of entertaining as an emcee and narrated several programs and musicals. I am retired.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon but was inactive for several years. During that time I looked for something else but could never find anything that even came close to the doctrines and the truth of the Gospel. Made a decision to return to the Church several years ago and have never been happier and more peaceful in my life. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is upon the earth today and that it is embodied in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today and receives revelation and guidance from the Lord. This truth gives me a great peace

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something that I do every day. It is a lifestyle not just something you do on Sunday and then forget the rest of the week. I strive each day to be honest, to be an example, to help those I come in contact with. I am in charge of our genealogy center and spend many hours there working on my genealogy and helping others work on theirs. It is very rewarding. I work with the missionaries and assist them in their work.
