Hi I'm LuAnn

I grew up in a small rural town in Arizona. I have lived here most of my life. I enjoy my family and helping others.

About Me

I am a daughter, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. My family is very important to me. I love music and I sing at my church. I believe that my Father in Heaven gives us all talents to share with others. I share my love for music with my family and friends. I have a associates degree in Business Administration. I volunteer for the US Forest Service and spend a lot of time out doors and work in a Visitors Center at a very beautiful Lake here in Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is a family centered church. I choose this christian religion because I have a great love for my Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ who suffered for me. I know that God lives and we were created in his image. He answers my prayers, he knows each one of us and he wants what is best for me. This religion brings me comfort when I am in need of it, joy when I follow the commandments, and a solid rock to lean on. I cannot imagine what my life would be like if I didn't have my Savior in it. He is my constant companion and my guide. I am a convert to this church and was baptised at the age of ten. At that age I wanted to be baptised because this was the only church that didn't have scarey srories about what will happen when we die. They had a story about God and Jesus that I could understand. One that told of a loving father and son, not a scary one. They had programs for young people and made me feel like I was welcome there. I stay a member of this church because I know that I am a child of God and that he is just a prayer away. I know this is the kind of life God wants for me because I can feel the joy in my heart.

How I live my faith

I am a active member in our Church and very seldom miss a sunday. I often lead the music. I make the church bullitens and I teach the children about Jesus and Heavenly Father. I love visiting and working with people. I believe my Heavenly Father would like me to live my life with prayer and reading the scriptures daily. I try to be friendly and caring to all those I meet. I work at being a good example for all of my grandchildren by using clean language, forgiving others living the cooamdments and not holding grudges.
