Hi I'm Danny Torres

I love wide open skies. I could play guitar all day. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied Interpersonal and Organizational Communication at the University of Central Florida. I love to read about history, art, cultures and languages. I enjoy playing guitar, watercolor painting, and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, when I was around the age of twelve, I felt that I needed to know for myself whether the things that I had been taught were true. I was determined to receive a personal confirmation for myself, and I set out to do so in the Lord's perscribed pattern. I read the Book of Mormon, pondered the things I had read, and prayed sincerely to my Father in Heaven, having faith that I would receive an answer. And I did receive an answer. I testify that through the Holy Ghost, I was able to come to an understanding of the truth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, that Jesus is the Christ, and that through his prophet, Joseph Smith, He has brought back the fulness of the Gospel to the earth again. By acting upon this answer, I have found true happiness. I am truly blessed to be a missionary and to share daily what has made me so happy with everyone that I meet.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a representative of Jesus Christ, I am blessed to be able to share the Gospel daily, to see how the Gospel can change lives and heal families, and to help others to strenghten their faith in Christ. As a missionary, I help others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the Restored Gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
