Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in Southern California but have made Arizona my home since 1989. I am a mortgage loan officer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a golfer I play as often as I can and carry a 7 handicap. I am a 54 year old married father of 3 great kids and grandpa to 3 wonderful grandchildren. My wife and I work together as a team in the mortgage business. I love to read, walk and spend time with my family. I taught high school and coached basketball for 20 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a child of god. The restored gosple of Jesus Christ has taught me about who I am and why I am here on earth at this time. I know that I can live with my family forever with Heavenly Father and his son, my Savior and my Redeemer Jesus Christ. I have asked my Heavenly Father if these are true and through the power of the Holy Ghost I know he answered my prayers. The Book of Mormon is indeed the word of god. It is another testimony of Jesus Christ. I know he lives and is with me through good times and especially the difficult times. The peace I feel within me, knowing that no matter what happens in this life I will live again . If I strive to live my life according to the teachings of our Savior that along with my family we can live with him. How blessed we are that in today's trying enviroment we have a living Prophet of God. That Heavenly Father is these days as in times past speaks to man through his prophets.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day in how I treat others and what kind of example I am. I am not perfect by any means but serve as best I can. I regularly visit families and single mothers to let them know that I care and to do for them what they might need. I serve under the direction of our area leader and visit the several congregations to share with them messages of love , encouragement and learning. I have found that in doing this I am the beneficiary as I learn from them and feel their spirit and see their faith in action. I have learned that when you are in the service of your fellow man you truely are in the service of God.
