Hi I'm Brett

I'm born and raised in Arizona. I want to study psychology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sports maniac! I love to play sports but I more enjoy analyzing them, and it's every sport too, not just a few but all and in between. I'm going to a community college starting my degree in psychology. I'm a class clown and love entertaining.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings real happiness. Being a Mormon really helps one see and focus on important things in life and let everything else just roll off. It offers a peace that is unparallelled by any other source. As any other human I face a lot of challenges, but also as a Mormon and with my faith i know that I can overcome and when i fail I have the tools necessary to learn and continue. There is no obstacle I can't overcome when I trust in the Lord. I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me, I know that Jesus Christ died for me, and I know that there is a plan that Satan cannot disrupt or or stop. With this knowledge I can overcome any trial or difficulty. And that provides a feeling of peace and happiness that cannot be compared to any other.

How I live my faith

In my ward my first calling is as a home teacher. I go to 5 different members of the ward each month checking up on them, making sure they are alright and seeing if there is something that I can do for them. I'm also a teacher in one of the classes. In the class we teach out of a manual called "Preach My Gospel" which helps one teach and preach the Gospel to others. I, with 5 others, am also in charge of planning an activity every Monday night called family home evening, where as groups in our ward can get together in a church friendly environment and meet new people and have some fun.
