Hi I'm Scot

I live in Seattle, WA. I outfit Police vehicles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happily married father of 2 who enjoys camping, mountain biking, fishing, shooting, snowboarding, boating, and dirt bike riding. I also enjoy building things and fixing things. I install police equipment in police vehicles for a living and do some mechanic work as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I gained a testimony of the church when I was in my early 20s when I started my family. I was aware of the doctrines of the church and decided to find out for myself if the church was really true. I read The Book of Mormon with my wife and prayed to God to know if it was true. My wife and I received an answer through the power of the Holy Ghost which told us in our hearts that The Book of Mormon was true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I already had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for all of us. We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to know about the Lord's restored gospel so that we can be together as a family forever through our faith as we follow God's commandments.

How I live my faith

My wife and I were called as teachers to teach the 8-9 year old childeren at church on sundays. I love to teach these childeren about Jesus and the things that he did for us while he was on the earth as well as his ultimate plan and what he continues to do for us. I also enjoy the social activities that we do as a ward such as holiday parties and dances. I enjoy participating in the many service projects that serve other members of the church or around the community. It give me a great feeling to know I am helping someone in need or making the community better.
