Hi I'm Carli

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love star wars, and french fries, and riding motorcycles, and working on cars, and hiking, and camping, and the stars, and gummy worms, and meeting new people, and making friends, and more than anything, i love being lds. I'm currently in my second year of college, working and going to school, and my best friend in the whole world is my baby tortoise, Spike.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is the one thing in this world that makes me completely and eternally happy. Being a part of the LDS church brings me more joy than I thought possible. I love the feeling I get when I pray and read the scriptures, I know that what I'm reading is true, and I know that someone is listening to me. My Heavenly Father is my best friend and He shows me he loves me everyday. He lifts me up and comforts me, makes me strong and is always there for me. When I read the scriptures I grow closer to Him. I know that He is my father and loves me as his daughter and wants the best for me in this life. I thrive on His guidance given through my priesthood leaders and friends. I'm a Mormon because I know that it is the one true church, and I love being a part of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting an example. Being one of the very few members of the church at my work and at my school, my friends learn about the church through my actions. I try to be the best I can be so that "those who don't know God but know me, will become closer to God because they know me." I love sharing something that means so much to me with people that mean so much to me. I also serve on a service committee at my Institute and take every opportunity I can to serve others and share the gospel. I hold a calling in my ward as a sunday school teacher as well, and love the opportunity that this gives me to learn more about the gospel in my efforts to teach others.
