Hi I'm Kirstin

I live in Bellingham, WA. I am a geek, but I also love to dance, hike, cook, and go on adventures. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love roleplaying, anime, online gaming, and computers in general. I am attending both high school and college, and hope to get a degree in computer engineering. Outside of school, I'm an amateur web designer as well as an amateur graphics designer and often get commissions. I enjoy dancing and hiking. In free time, I also bake and cook, and am very proud of my skills. I have many friends and enjoy everything best when I'm with them. They like to describe me as both bold and a (bit) crazy, as I speak my mind and find fun and humor in the strangest activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were both converts to this church. However, their faith is not the reason why I myself am a Mormon. With my introduction to high school as well as the construction of a local temple, I started to become aware of the church I had gone to every Sunday for the entirety of my life. I started questioning my belief, and began researching the values and beliefs of the Latter Day Saints from both sources with positive and negative views of this church. I started reading my scriptures, listening to the things said in church, and praying to see if it was true. The more I learned about this faith, the more convinced I was in the truthfulness of this church, until I myself found faith in it.

How I live my faith

Just like most Mormons my age, I attend a church class every weekday morning and go to church every Sunday. I used to be both a secretary and a president for my youth group, and would help plan and run activities for our group. But outside of church, I am always out to help others. Whenever I see someone who is sad or lost, I can't help but not help them. I'm a councilor and friend to many, always looking to help those in need. Whether it be tech support to homework help to relationship advice, I'm proud to be there for my friends.
