Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently moved to the beautiful state of Washington with my husband who has just started his first year as a law student. We are expecting our first child in a few months and are so excited! As a recent college graduate, I currently work as a child care aide in an Early Head Start Program. I love to help children and serve other people around me. I am a very athletic person with a love for volleyball, soccer and football. My other hobbies include spending time with my husband, friends and other family members, watching movies, playing the harp, scrap-booking and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ by my two faithful parents who have a love for the gospel. Having a strong example from them and other family members and friends of dedication to the church and its teachings, I have been able to make my own decisions to follow the commandments and be baptized. I was only 8 years old when I made that decision, but I stand by that choice to this day. Throughout the difficult choices, trials and triumphs I've had to face in life, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has been my guide, my friend and my companion through them all. I try to live my life in a way that the Savior would have me do for I know that He lived and died for me. I love to pray to my Heavenly Father and I desire to teach our soon-to-be child about the church and the family values my husband and I stand true to. I'm a Mormon because this church brings purpose and direction to my life. It seals my family together and teaches me how to improve in my relationship with them so that we can be eternal. I am happier because of my conversion and daily living as a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I love to serve people around me. I live my faith by sharing my musical talents with my community and fellow church members by playing my harp at local weddings and organizing musical events. I live my faith by teaching young children respectful habits and behaviors and by caring about/serving others around me. I put my faith in the Lord and challenge myself by working hard and not giving up.
