Hi I'm Alicia

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a wife and mother of 4 amazing children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am the youngest of seven siblings. I married the love of my life almost 9 years ago. We have three adorable boys and one precious baby girl. I am a stay at home mother, which I am blessed to be able to do. I love to spend time with my family. My husband is the most hard working individual you will ever meet and works crazy hours. So, I treasure the time when he is actually able to be home with us. I love to do crafts and I am learning to sew. Lately, I've been making accessories for my new baby girl. I love to cook and especially bake. It brings me joy to see people enjoying the things that I have made. I like photography, but mostly just taking pictures of my kids. I am a shopaholic and am constantly on the hunt for a good deal. I love music and singing and the list could go on and on. There are just too many things to name that I love or that I am interested in. I'm living each day trying to be the best wife, mother, daughter and friend that I can be. Each day I try to be better than the day before!

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father with all my heart. I was born into the Mormon faith and was raised Mormon my whole life. I love my faith and it is strengthened with every blessing and with every trial that I face in my life. My whole world revolves around my family and I am truly blessed to have each and everyone of them in my life. Knowing that families are forever is what comforts me day to day. I have had many trials and struggles in my life and have always had my faith to help me through. Raising my children in the church gives me great comfort to know that they too will gain a relationship with their Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. Having this relationship and knowing they can turn to them in their times of need is such a blessing as a parent. I am so grateful to have a living Prophet that can help me and guide me in my life and in the lives of the people I love. The more I strive to be Christ like, the more I see the blessings in my life. There are many stresses and negative influences in all of our lives today, that I would be lost without my faith, family and friends. I have a testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I believe that Jesus Christ died for all of us and suffered for our sins. I have a testimony of The Book of Mormon and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and his teachings. I believe that families are forever and that we are sealed together for eternity. I have a testimony of the power of tithing. Trusting in the Lord and believing he knows what's best for us. Without my faith I truly believe I would not be the person that I am today. It has made me who I am. I hope and pray that I am an example to my children, friends and to all people that I come in contact with on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

I believe in and trust my church leaders and in doing so I have been able to be a part of many different aspects of our church. I have been blessed to be a leader and teacher to children and youth of all ages. I have been able to organize various events and gathers to help others strengthen their faith. And I have been able to share through music and song. No matter where you live in the world, the church is the same. The beliefs, the teachings and the people. There is always someone willing to serve, wether it be to help deliver meals to those need, give a ride to someone without transportation or just to be a friend to someone who is hurting. This is who I strive to be. Help when I'm able, serve when and where I can and to be an honest and worthy person in my daily life. I want to be someone that my husband, kids, parents, siblings and friends can be proud to be associated with.
