Hi I'm Kalob

I grew up in Casper, WY on a small ranch, I now live in Colorado and work as a Chemical Engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Casper, WY playing football and working at my families Meat processing plant. I went to school at the University of Wyoming and graduated in Chemical engineering and Chemistry. A gained a great education, which I interrupted after my freshmen year to serve a 2 year mission in the Macon Georgia mission. I grew up with my father not a member of our faith, my life and my mission now includes my beautiful wife and my infant son. My life has been forever changed by an eternal marriage in the temple and by the birth of our son. I love what I do, and the opportunity to do it living my faith. I know work in Colorado at manufacturing plant using my Chemical engineering degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with my mother as a convert to the faith and my father not a part of the faith. My father completely supported me and my siblings, in the lds faith. He was and still is my hero, and as I went away to college I had to decide if I wanted to live a life as member of the LDS church or live without in my life. I had a true dilemma or fork in the road. I read the book of Mormon completely for the first time in my dorm room. I didn't know right away but as I finished, knelt, and prayed I knew. My life changed then and there. It defines me, and I hope that all those around me might feel the power of that change. And as a side note my father did join the faith and has made my family eternal. I know that this gospel brings amazing blessings into the lives of its members. Its a way of life, that helps you live life more fully. The gospel is centered around the Savior, Jesus Christ and I bear witness that being a "Mormon" brings you closer to him. I bear witness it is true, and that God in our time has spoken from heaven to teach us of our time.

How I live my faith

I spend time visiting the members of our faith in the ward we live. It is truly what the savior would do if he were living in the place I live. I have spent time in the church cleaning and doing community service in Food Kitchens, Christmas donation lines, elderly service, community restoration projects and much more. I believe in being nice and doing kind things for everyone I meet. That is how I live my faith. I love the church and what it has helped me to become. I'm a better person for striving to live its principles.
