Hi I'm Alexa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and a mother. Married to a wonderful man and together we have a beautiful baby girl. I am a homemaker and an aspiring artist. I love to take photographs and I love to paint and I love learning about other cultures and living a natural life. I love spending time with my family by watching movies and relaxing in our home.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member my whole life. I've never had a reason to doubt that this is the greatest thing thats ever happened to this world. Its brought so much love, truth and light into my life. During times of trial and sorrow in my life it has brought me great joy and happiness to know that everything will be okay. When I was a year old my mother passed away leaving 3 small children knowing that we have the power to be sealed to our loved ones is amazing. Knowing that we'll see them again one day is so beautiful. I love the LDS church. Its the foundation of my whole life.

How I live my faith

I am a Primary Teacher and also a Visiting teacher. I teach sunbeams ( 3 year olds ) about our Heavenly Father and the love he has for all of his children as individuals and has a central family unit. I find happiness in serving others. As president Gordon B. Hinkley said " Forget yourself and go to work" I believe that if we can serve others with a full heart we will come to know and feel of the saviors love for us.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Alexa
Praying to our Heavenly Father and asking him sincerely to know whether the LDS church is true. You can also know by searching pondering and praying when you read the Book of Mormon and listening with your heart for a warming sweet sensation and inspiration from the Holy Ghost, who will tell whisper to your spirit and mind. You may have experienced feelings of peace, hope, comfort, or happiness as you’ve read. If so, you have already felt the Holy Ghost telling you that these things are true. Show more Show less
