Hi I'm Candice Clifford

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Yes I am a Mormon! Not only that but I was a student for one year at a community college, and I will be putting that aside for 18 months because I am going on a mission. Aside from the biggest points about me I love to do things active. Whether it be inside or outside. It is the greatest thing to me to be able to do something that is fun and helps keep you in shape. I love to exercise! That is one major thing about me. Yes I can be lazy at times but eventually I cant take it anymore and I have to work out! Another thing is I love to help and serve people. This can be from helping someone get there cat down from a tree or listening to someone tell me their struggles. Sometimes I can talk more than listen but it's just because I am trying to help. Something else big in my life is music. I absolutely love music! I cant be in a car, bus or my own room without music. With my love of music I play piano. I have been playing for 10 years, and no I am not Beethoven. It is something that I do simply because I enjoy it. Well that is me a Mormon in a nutshell.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because, I believe the Church of Jesus Christ is the true church of god. I have prayed and had life experiences testify to me. It brings me great comfort to go through my life knowing that there is something after this life on earth. It is also comforting to know that I have a loving Heavenly Father that cares for me, and will never leave my side.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions in my life. Life is an everyday struggle. Sometimes some days are better than others. But I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and know that even though I am not perfect I keep trying. I do this because I have faith, and I know that my savior and heavenly father wants me to keep trying because they wont give me any trial that I cant handle. Some things in my live that I have participated in to portray my faith is I held a toilet paper drive for the House of Refuge. This is where women and children go who are abused and leave their homes with nothing on there backs but maybe the clothes they are wearing and a few other things that they could quickly pick up. I have also been in 3 different leadership positions in the young women groups that we have. I also participated in a few committees to help organize big church events/activities. I have also had callings to teach the 8 year olds and 10 year olds. That was a great experience because It taught me who to teach in a different way and to see things in a different mind set. Lastly I have also had a calling of being a visiting teacher which is when me and my partner go and visit a few women in the ward to see how they are doing, and what we can do if they need any help. I am not perfect, but I am trying to do the best I can by living my faith through the actions I make. This is how I live my faith.
