Hi I'm Mo

I am Maori, a native of New Zealand. I've lived in the U.S. for 37 years. And I'm a fourth generation Mormon.

About Me

I am 77 years old. I am a father and a grandfather. I was born in New Zealand and have lived in America for 38 years. I like to paint, study scriptures, and watch history and science channels on T.V..

Why I am a Mormon

My great grandfather was a protestant minister in New Zealand (late 19th century), who heard about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saint. He believed and was baptized a Mormon. Being a fourth generation member of the Mormon church, my REAL conversion and TRUE understanding of my faith came to me at the ripe old age of 74. I began to study seriously and prayed about the mission and atonement of Jesus Christ. The Gospel makes common sense insofar as that by living Christ commandments my family and I are truly blessed. I am a Mormon because, ancient records revile to me that the Mormon church is the same organization as existed in Christ's time when he lived.

How I live my faith

I am honored to contribute tithes and offerings to help the poor and needy. I encourage those who need hope and inspiration. I share my abilities and talents (that god has blessed me with) to bring joy to others, who in turn bring joy to me. I honor my ancestors, my family, and all my children and grand children.
