Hi I'm Shauna

I'm a woman with the goal to be the best stay-at-home mom ever. I have 3 kids and try to teach them to be proud to be a Mormon!

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom. My every action during the day is to help my family be what I want it to be. I spend my days reading "Froggy" and crawling around being the tickle monster. At night, when the kids go to bed, I try to work on myself. I graduated from college and have tried to keep myself educated as well. It is hard to do with kids, but it is important to me. I also take the time to enjoy books. I love to sit by my husband while he does what he wants to do, and devour a good book. This is my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in "Mormon" town. I lived in Bountiful, the city next to Salt Lake City, Utah. I only knew Mormons. I only dated Mormons. My beliefs were not challenged. When I went to college I wasn't sure if this was the true church. I finally had a view of other religions and other beliefs. Despite the challenges, I continued to follow the mormon principles and guidelines. When I moved from Utah to Texas, I finally had a deep understanding and love of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I knew that I was a true, blue, Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one moment at a time. Every moment of every day brings a new choice of what is best to spend my time doing. Most of the time I live my faith by: taking time alone to talk to God, reading his scriptures, and finding those around me that I can help. With three children under the age of 4, I live my faith through teaching my children how to become the women and men that will help our world become great.
