Hi I'm Dee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a ranch and love having that background to assist me in raising my children and utilizing some of the simpler philosophies (get 'er done) in my everyday life. I think because of that background I enjoy many outdoor activities; camping, hiking, and boating, just to name a few. I love spending time with my family--both immediate and extended. I find holidays so enjoyable and I look forward to the times I get to host :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I rode on the shirt tails of my parents' testimonies for years and it wasn't until my college experiences that I gained a testimony of this gospel and it's teachings. This gospel is centered around families and because they are so important to me I'm happy to know I can be with my family forever in the eternities providing I live the commandments of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and stay true to the promises I've made to Them. I'm proud to be a daughter of our Heavenly Father! I know He loves me and knows me! Knowing this helps me want to become a little better each day.

How I live my faith

I've held many callings in the church throughout the years. Some of my favorite places to serve have been with the youth. The primary age children (3-11 years) have the most innocent and sweet spirits about them. Their hunger for knowledge and their desire to choose the right penetrates deeply and makes me long to have that innocence. The young women (12-17 years) are beautful! They, too, have such strong testimonies and have such an influence to their families, friends, and church members. As a young women leader I have been touched, and my life positively impacted by their love for the gospel and their fervent examples.
