Hi I'm Jana Lu

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother of two children, I love to play tennis and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church and love being one of it's members. I was married for ten years to the father of my children then he decided the gospel wasn't for him. I've since married a wonderful man who helped me raise my two children as his own. Going throuh a divorce taught me some vaulable lessons in life. Such as: staying strong when you just want to lay down and cry, Knowing Heavenly Father would always be with me no matter how bad it got. I really don't know how I would have survied that difficult time without knowing who I am and where I'm going and just having family that supported me along the way. I love playing tennis and find it fun to share the gospel with mother's who struggle with raising their children just like me.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 8 years of age I had a strong impressions of why I was here on this earth and if this gospel was really true. Throughout my life those two questions were answered in little ways that made me feel the spirit and my Heavenly Fathers love for me. My first real testimony that I gained for myself came at age 18 after reading the Book of Mormon for the first time. It was one of those WOW moments that I just knew it couldn't be made up and Jospeh Smith was a true prophet who restored the church on the earth today. As I get older and have had many other life changing experiences my appreciation for the Book of Mormon has deeply grown. I've gotten a lot of answeres to life's questions through reading this wonderful book that has been given to us.

How I live my faith

I try each and everyday to do what's right. Somedays it's hard. I do make mistakes and try to improve when I notice that I should have done something different. I think attending church every week helps me want to improve upon things that make we weak. I play tennis a lot and competivley so it's been fun to get into conversations about my faith. We just had a Temple open house and just wanting my friends to attend mean't a lot to me. I find the Temple the most sacred most wonderful peaceful place to be on this earth. I want to share this happiness that I feel there in the Temple with everyone. The gospel has been everything to me in my life. It's helped me raise my children, helped me cope with everyday burdens, helped my realtionship with my spouse stronger and made my love for my savior even greater. Who wouldn't want to share that?
