Hi I'm Charlene Asay

I grew up in Wyoming on a farm. I am a wife and mom. I love my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a very small farm country of Wyoming. I had many great memories spent with my family growing up. We milked cows, irrigated, pulled weeds in the garden, and played as a family. I am the oldest of 5 kids. I have 3 sisters, and one brother. I was a runner and a cheerleader in high school. I met my husband not long after I graduated from high school. We met at the student ward. We were sealed for all time and eternity in the Billings, Montana temple. He is my best friend. We are both students. He is going to Vet school, and I am taking classes online to be a Elementary teacher. This last May we became parents to the cutest baby boy. I spend my days taking care of him. I love being a mom, and I am so thankful I am able to stay at home with him. I love my family very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in my Heavenly Father, and Savior Jesus Christ. I have felt their love so many times in my life. Being Mormon makes me very happy. I love my family very much, and do not know what I would do with out them. I know that if I follow my Heavenly Father's commandments I can be with them for eternity. I love that I can have a worthy priesthood holder for my husband. When ever I need a blessing when I am sick, need comfort, or guidance I can go to him. I have seen the power of the priesthood in my life. I know that my Heavenly Father answers my prayers, and truly loves me. I am Mormon because my Savior sacrificed so that I could come to earth to a family to learn and grow, and return to heaven someday.

How I live my faith

My husband and I attend a student-married ward. I am the secretary in the Primary. I enjoy my calling of serving the children in our ward. I visit teach two ladies in my ward. My partner and I strive to go once a month. We share a message with them from the Ensign every month from our church leaders. My husband and I attend the temple as often as we can.
