Hi I'm Theodore G. Werner Jr.

I am a convert of over 32 years, and have never looked backwards. The Church is true. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wife of 38 years, 2 children who both graduated from BYU. They collectively have 4 children. I have been self employed for 30 years and am very active with church callings and community volunteering. I am a past Rotary President, past Chamber President and past Hospital Board member. We enjoy being out with nature on walks and fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

When my wife and I were about to have our first child we elected to find truth in the form of the Gospel of Christ. Our collective siblings and friends were having marital and social problems and we did not desire to follow their path. We found an article in 'Readers Digest' about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. It made sense. One day while driving home, the long way, I spotted two Missionaries tracting. I had never previuosly seen missionaries. I stopped and invited them to our home. The rest, we have been sealed as a family in a Temple of our Lord, for all eternity. Our children have also been sealed to their eternal companions. Their children born under the Covanent. THIS is my legacy, not land or posessions, but the constant shinning light of our Saviors love daily.

How I live my faith

I received the call in Ward leadership. I quickly realized that God prepares those whom he chooses. On occasion it is a crash course. I have been blessed to have worked with our youth as well as the Primary children. We are on earth for a purpose and God's plan is alive and real. Community members know of Church standards and are grateful to have me serve along side others making a difference.
