Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a native Arizonan. I'm a wife and new mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

While I have many titles my most cherished our wife and mother. I consider myself a social butterfly and love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy cooking and I am always eager to try out new recipes and kitchen gadgets. I have a hidden talent for bargain shopping but, secretly wish I could sing. I am a constant optimist always seeking for an excuse to celebrate whether it’s a holiday, a new season or my son's first steps.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised in the church. I come from a strong pioneer heritage with many faithful ancestors having forged the way before me. However, like any true follower I too had to be converted to the gospel. I was baptized at the age of eight with the feeling that I was making the right choice. There were several key moments in my life when my faith was challenged. It was through these experiences that my testimony grew and my feeling turned into knowledge. I know that it is through the teachings and principles of the gospel that I can lead the fullest life and return to live with my Heavenly Father and eternal family.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith daily as I continually strive to live and learn about the principles of the gospel. While I have served within the church in many ways, I am currently a teacher to youth ages 8-12. I love this opportunity to spend time with the future leaders of the church and our community. I find that most Sunday's I walk away with these amazing children having taught me. I also value the friendships and immediate sense of community that I have experienced through my service as a visiting teacher. As a visiting teacher I foster strong relationships with women in the church through monthly opportunities to visit and serve them at home.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

The beauty of this world is a constant testament to me of the existents of a loving Heavenly Father. I feel that such detailed order and complete organization can only happen through divine creation. I am amazed by the workings of nature and all living things. I am in awe of the beauty and necessity of changing seasons and various climates. As a mother the process of pregnancy and birth is nothing short of a miracle. The fact that all the things we need to survive are available in perfect harmony on this earth is a testament that there is a God. Show more Show less
