Hi I'm Kyersten

I'm a farm girl at heart. I'm good at raising chickens, goats, and children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family of nine kids. Seven boys and two girls. Needless to say... I'm a bit of a tomboy. I love riding motorbikes, going camping and hiking. I am a full time mother of three. I love making our house a home. I have many hobbies and interests to keep me busy. I love running, and have been in a few marathons and half marathons. I enjoy knitting, cross-stitch, interior design, gardening, travel, entertaining, and I read whenever I have a quiet moment. I love to learn and recently decided to start piano lessons, photography and beekeeping. The world is our oyster! I believe this life is for us to learn, and experience joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed in my life, starting with good, loving parents. For life to have real meaning and purpose I strongly feel we need to realize the bigger picture. Why am I here and where am I going? The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us these things. Our Heavenly Father loves us and he does have a plan for us to follow. He sent his son Jesus Christ to show us the way back home. By believing in Christ, following his example, and accepting him as our Savior we can return to our Heavenly Father. This life is not the end, but the beginning of eternity with our families. We have been given all the tools and guidance we need, if we will just seek after these things. Through prayer we can know for ourselves the truthfulness in all things. I feel peace when I follow Christ and that is true joy.

How I live my faith

I attend church on Sundays. I enjoy the members there and the sense of community, but most of all I go to feel the spirit and grow my testimony. I love to learn of the scriptures and how they are relevant to me and my life. I work with and teach the young women in our ward. It gives me many opportunities to share my knowledge and love of the gospel. Through serving others we can find greater purpose.
