Hi I'm Annie

I am so incredibly happy, to be a Mormon.

About Me

I love any and all sorts of adventure! I love to travel, I'd do it all the time if I could--but for now I'm working hard to get a college education. I love to cook/eat, laugh, photograph and be outdoors. My family and friends mean more to me than I can say, and so does the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints bring life into perspective. Any questions I have, any restlessness or fear I feel, are all enveloped in the loving arms of my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon gives me purpose, understanding, guidance and goals for the future. I am a Mormon because it is the only way I can be together with the people I love the most-my family-forever. I am a Mormon because this gospel embraces the things that really matter and exemplifies a life of happiness, righteousness and true peace and joy. The gospel fills any voids in my life and encourages me to be better. I am a Mormon because of the unmistakable feeling of warmth I feel deep in my soul when I read from the Book of Mormon, feel the spirit, bear my personal testimony of its truthfulness, or hear others bearing their personal witness. I am a Mormon because in a world of confusion, evil, desperation and sadness, the gospel of Jesus Christ counters each negative feeling or action with feelings of hope, faith, comfort, companionship, knowledge, purpose, happiness, love, answers, reassurance and an endless list of other things. Our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are here every minute of every day to provide these things. We are never alone. I am a Mormon because without it I would be nothing. I am also a Mormon because of the great atonement that is provided to me, and all of us, because of our Elder Brother Jesus Christ. I know that through Him and His sacrifice we can overcome any trials that come into our lives. I am thankful for daily, hourly communication available to me with my Heavenly Father. I know that anytime, any place, any where, He cares about us more than we can even comprehend. He loves us infinitely and is always, always there to guide us with His loving hand. It is the most comforting thing. He watches over and protects us and will "uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness" without a doubt.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the"little" things everyday. I emphasize "little" because while these may seem like small things, they are the things that have made the largest of differences in my life. Prayer to my Heavenly Father, studying His scriptures--from modern day living prophets and those scriptures written by ancient prophets, paying tithing, attending institute, participating in church callings and activities, and I pray that others are able to see the joy this gospel brings to my life. It is such a light!
