Hi I'm Heather

I am married to a submarine officer whom I have traveled the world with and I'm a Mom of 4 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have married to a wonderful man for over 16 years. He is an officer on nuclear submarines. Because of his job we have lived all over the United States and traveled many places all over the world. I love seeing the many different types of beauty that this world has to offer. I love meeting people from everywhere and realizing each time how even though our lives may be different we are so similiar in our desires for happiness. I have 4 beautiful children who bring me such joy. I am grateful each day to watch them as they grow and learn. As I feel the love that I have for each one of them I am touched by the love that God must hae for me. I love outdoors, reading, cooking, and especially eating! Mostly, I love life and am grateful for every day of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members of this church. I grew up knowing that I had a Father in Heaven who loved me and a loving brother, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for this constant knowledge. As I left my childhood home, was married, and moved far away from the area I was raised I had the chance to come to know that I am a member of this church because I know it's teachings are true. I have had many trials and tests of my faith, but through prayer and living of the principles that this church teaches I have come through them and am the better for it. I know that my Heavenly Father listens and answers my prayers. I know that I am His daughter and He love me as I would love my own children. I know that I have a Savior, even Jesus Christ who atoned for my sins, giving me the opportunity to repent of my sins. I know that each day as I strive to live a rightous life I am happier. In a world where so much negative is all around I am grateful for the knowledge that I have to make my life positive.

How I live my faith

I am so grateful for the opportunities that this church gives me to serve my fellow men and woman. I have had the opportunity to work with all different groups in our church, from teaching the woman to teaching the youth to the fun job of teaching the children. Whichever job I have at the time I am so amazed at the satisfaction I recieve from being with each group. I feel that I get to grow more than those I am teaching or helping. I know that I am also grateful for those that serve me and my family. It seems that it is a neverending circle of everyone helping each other.
