Hi I'm Michael

I love to sing, laugh, and play Ultimate. I love life and the lessons it brings and I'm a Mormom

About Me

I love to be active and to learn new things. I graduated high school with an international baccalaureate(IB) diploma. After high-school I went to BYU for one semester. But I put that off for a season and I now serve the Lord in wonderful South Florida. Here I have the opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the world. Its a thrill to learn their language and experience their varied cultures. I love to play Ultimate Frisbee, its one of my passions. Before my mission I played competivelty on several different levels and would do anything just to play alittle longer. Also, I love music! I am nearly always singing. There is a great freedom that I find in it. Whether it be in on the stage, in my bathroom, or on my bike, my life is eternally accompanied by the music that never leaves my mind. Speaking of things that never leave my mind. I suffer from migraines everyday. However, I take comfort in the small and simple things of this life, which allows me to look past myself and my own pain and to enjoy the company of those who surround me. I strive to be bright, energetic and happy, I have found that the best way to do so is to be anxioiusly involved in something greater than myself. I'm working hard and loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith is in Jesus Christ. I am blessed with wonderful parents who taught me in my youth of Jesus and His great importance. I am a member of this church because I felt the pure love of our Savior. His spirit has communicated to my heart that Christ is my Savior and that Joseph Smith is His prophet. I felt that wonderful warmth of the spirit testify to me the truth of the restoration of Christ's gospel. Since then I have continued to grow in my understanding of the gospel. I now know through that spirit of warmth, love, light and truth that the teachings of this gospel are pure and true. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I read it and delight in it. Its words provide clarity to the teachings of the Bible and have allowed me to come closer to Christ. The Lord still cares for us. This is why we have a prophet today. His prophets are here to invite us to come unto Christ our Savior and Redeemer. By obedience to God's word as revealed through his prophets we are protected blessed and enable to live with God some day. I have a testimony of the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. That Atonement, which is constituted of Christ's suffering, death and ressurection is real. I feel its power often in my life. That Atonement is the only source through which all mankind is cleansed, healed and enabled to become like Christ. I know this is true and I invite alI to learn of its truth for themselves by seeking His spirit for themselves.

How I live my faith

Daily, I live my faith by smiling, laughing, and being an example of the church and its standards. I strive to be a positive influence on those around me. I keep a bright sense of faith and confidence in the fact that the Lord is taking care of us. I know that the problems we face can always be overcome, and that we are given opportunities to learn and grow everyday. I strive to find the positive in all things. I have been able to find strength and solace in this gospel. As one who suffers from constant headaches it would be easy to give up. However, I have found that keeping a positive attitude and remembering our Lord allows me to continue forward. Currently, I live my faith by helping others come to understand who Jesus Christ is, what He did for us and how we came come closer to Him. Daily, I invite all people that I meet to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized. I am a faithful, firm and resolute missionary. I couldn't love what I do more. Serving the Lord and His children is the most gratifying and rewarding thing i have ever done. This is how I live my faith.
