Hi I'm Sterling

I'm a husband, a father, a social worker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a new dad, I am going to school right now for my Master's in Social Work and working at a Family Center for Asians. I have a BS in Psychology. I love road trips with my wife and baby, reading and playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my wife and daughter more than I could ever express. I want to be with them forever and i believe that it is only through the true gospel of Jesus Christ and his atonement that this can happen. I believe that God has a plan for all of us and that if we obey his commandments and do our very best we can be with those we love forever. I can think of no better gift.

How I live my faith

In the community I am in charge of organizing Sunday School classes. I participate in community service projects, visit families in need in the boundaries of my specific area and try to live in a way that shows others that I am a believer of Christ and his teachings.

Are Mormons Christians?

Absolutely. We believe in Jesus Christ and his atonement and rely on Him for our salvation. We may not be seen as being "historical Christians" because our faith does not follow the line of Catholicism or other Christian sects. However, we believe that in 1820 Joseph Smith restored the original Church of Jesus Christ with prophets and apostles, just like in the days of old. In this way we are firm believers in the original Church of Jesus Christ and follow his example as portrayed in the Holy Bible and in the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
