Hi I'm Greg Rellaford

I'm from American Fork Utah, I'm a singer, a music and Lego lover, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! Today is the Best Day Ever!!!!! That is my personal motto. I like to wake up every morning and let myself and everyone around me know it. Right now I'm on a mission in Fort Lauderdale Florida, and I love it. Every day we go out and work to help people repent and come closer to Jesus Christ. There are 5 of us boys and 1 girl in my family and it is not unoften that you'll see us battling with wooden swords, having Nerf wars, and building with Legos. I love to spend all of my time with my family doing anything that is adventurous or funny. My family means the world to me and every day spent with them is a new best day of my life. I really love my whole family and the greatest part is that we are a family that lasts forever. I really love music! I love writing songs and poetry and listening to music. Music pretty much defines how I express myself. I really like rock and alternative music with good values and I look for music that really connects with who I am and that I can express myself with. With this I love writing music and I have a dream to be in a rock band one day. I also love using my creativity and this drives me. I love building race tracks out of paper and tape in my apartment, building puzzles, and writing stories.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young boy, I always followed the testimony of others. Sure, I believed it, but I in my teenage years I had to find out for myself. I had a dark time as many other do. My Dad one day asked my why I did the things I did, and I realized that something needed to change. I think that everyone has to have a personal conversion, whether born in the church or not. Mine was when I was 14 years old. While at a large church youth activity I saw a movie that showed pictures of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. In that moment I finally realized for myself that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do live and exist, and yes they did love me and everyone else. From that moment I changed my life. My life didn't change instantly and I have many lessons I've learned since and many more to learn, but I'm a better person because of it. I am a Mormon, because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and I love him. I love and live to serve the Lord and to spread the truth that I know to others around me. The gospel means everything to me and for that I have dedicated my life to it. I love being a Mormon because I have seen what it does to people and what it has done for me. I love this gospel because there is nothing like this and I know that it is the truth. I love this gospel because it makes me happy everyday and I know that I can live with my Heavenly Father again. It reminds me every day that Today is The Best Day Ever!!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by living every day. The most important way to live is with purpose. I live my faith by loving and glorifying it every day. I love home teaching because it gives me an opportunity to get outside myself and do a little work. Really, I just love sharing the gospel. It means the world to me. I'm on a Mission in Fort Lauderdale Florida right now. It's something that I have always dreamed of doing since I was a 3 year old boy. There is such a feeling of joy, for me, when I get to share this gospel that I know is true and that I get to give this light to people around me. It is a lot of hard work being on a mission, but getting to see the joy and happiness that comes to people through baptism makes it all worth it. Another way I try to share the gospel is through music. I've just begun writing music, definitely on the more spiritual side of the spectrum, but I love the opportunity that I have to share my testimony with music. It has always been on of my dreams and now it is coming true. I love having the Priesthood, because it really is the power of God. There is nothing like it, and I feel honored that the Lord trusts me with his power. Sure, I make mistakes, but every time he helps me to get back up again. I am so grateful for that. He does everything for me and makes my life so special. I live my faith to serve another day for the Lord. I live my faith because I love this gospel. I love what it does for me and so many others. It truly is unparalleled.

What is faith?

Greg Rellaford
Basically summed up Faith is believing in something not seen, and then acting upon it. Faith is a principle of action and power. Faith is a necessary life principle. I can't live without it. Faith gives us courage to believe that God exists and that everything he says is true, it then gives us courage to act upon this belief till it becomes our knowledge and habit. Faith is essential to be happy and to keep in communication with God. Show more Show less
