Hi I'm April

I'm a happy-to-stay-at-home mom to 2 boys. I'm a wife of a dental student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have the sweetest three boys in my life. I went to BYU and was able to go on a study abroad to Romania which absolutely changed my life. I also was blessed to serve a mission to Barcelona, Spain, which I loved. I met my sweet husband at BYU when I got back and we were married in the Uruguay Temple. Now my husband is attending dental school and we are loving this chapter of our lives. We feel very blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I believe, whole-heartedly, that it is true. I have felt God's love for me innumerable times. The gospel truths are perfect. They make sense. Without the Church, there would be no meaning to my life. When I am living the gospel, that is when I am the happiest.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in as many ways as I can. I have 2 neighbors that are single moms and both ask me questions about the Church all the time. It is an absolute joy for me to talk to them and answer their questions. I try to be open with others about my religion. I want to share the joy that it brings to my life. I have the privilege of helping with the small children in our local congregation. Children are, by nature, Christ-like, and so I really do consider it a joy to be able to be in their presence every Sunday and learn from them. For this reason, being a mother is the greastest blessing I have- to be in the presence of such perfect spirits on a daily basis is a very humbling and special experience.
