Hi I'm Steve

I work in the forest, beautifying nature. I am blessed with a loving wife, five children, and 5 grandchildren...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Family has always been what my life has revolved around. Having lost my father when I was 21, I had an early opportunity to realize how important family is. Each stage of life has brought so many new insights as we have faced obstacles and trials that were unanticipated and certainly not wished for. But with hindsight, I have seen the hand of the Lord in all we have gone through, and grown from each challenge that has come our way.

Why I am a Mormon

To me, the greatest blessing of life is to be able to feel the love and spirit of the Lord. It is so assuring to me to know that God represents all that is good, positive, kind, and full of light and truth. I believe with all my heart that ALL who seek the Lord earnestly and truly pay the price, WILL receive a confirmation from Him that He lives. I am so thankful for the plan of happiness that the Lord has given us through His gospel.

How I live my faith

My work has always allowed me to spend time serving in the Church. Volunteer service and callings to teach the youth as well as work with adults has been a great blessing to me. Family has always been most important to me. I love the good times and the tough times. As a grandfather I am trying to improve on some of my weak points as a father. I must say that I thoroughly enjoy relating to my adult children (we are now "empty-nesters") and treasure the time we can spend together.
